　　A Place to Sleep 睡觉的地方

　　By the time John pulled into the little town, every hotel room was taken. Youve got to have a room somewhere. he pleaded. Or just a bed--I dont care where.

　　Well, I do have a double room with one occupant, admitted the manager, and he might be glad to split the cost. But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained in the past. Im not sure itd be worth it to you.

　　No problem, the tired traveler assured him. Ill take it.

　　The next morning, John came down to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. When asked about how he slept, he replied, Never better.

　　The manager was impressed. No problem with the other guy snoring, then

　　Nope. I shut him up in no time.

　　Howd you manage that

　　He was already in bed, snoring away, when I came in the room, John said. I went over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, said, Goodnight, beautiful. With that he sat up all night watching me.

　　My favourite colour is green,we can see the colour everywhere:tree leaves are green,grass is green and so on.Green is also a healthy colour,during our lives,we seeing this colour more often is good for our eyes,and why we dont called those natural food like Red Food,Blue Food or Purple Food So you can understand how impotant it is.Green means life,hope youth and etc.Thats my favourite colour:Green,I hope more and more people will like green like me.

　　As is known to all, with the improvement of peoples living standards, cars have become a popular means of transport, bringing great convenience to our life. However, they have also caused some problems such as air pollution and traffic jams. How can we solve these problems then As far as Im concerned, riding bicycles is a good solution. For one thing, bicycles dont need any petrol and they are energy-saving. For another, bicycles are environmentally friendly because they wont give off waste gas. Whats more, riding bicycles is a good way for us to exercise and it is good for our health. Therefore, lets take the responsibility to build up a lowcarbon city by riding bicycles. Come on and join us! Thank you for listening!

　　Hi everybody.

　　Back in the years when I was only six years old or so, I had my first taste of English. It seemed very strange to me. At the very beginning, I was not so interested in this strange language. Moreover, the English TV program always took time away from my cartoon shows. As a result, I started to hate English.

　　Time flies. Things completely changed at the end of my primary school life. In the last exam of the whole primary school period, I did so well in English that I got a full mark. I found that I could do a perfect in English if I put my heart on it. This exam seems to be a turning point on my road of studying English and has really inspired me. Although there are still many challenges waiting for me, these setbacks wont hurt my confidence and will push me to study harder.

　　Nothing is impossible for willing hearts and I believe, in the future, I can fly as high as I wish to.
